Join the Is Cool collectors! With over one million players every month, Is Cool has become a true phenomenon on Facebook. Tell your friends they’re cool, discover the Kiwi families and share in the ultimate goal: collecting all the Kiwi objects!
Is Cool is not really a game in my opinion, it is more of a platform where you and your friends can compete to see who is the most popular and collect images on the way.
When you start the “game” it looks like a game, and with great graphics by the way, really nice artwork and cute characters, the Kiwis.
You are taken through a sort of tutorial on the game basics, collection, daily treat, invite friends etc…, you are waiting to see what kind of game it is, and when you get to the end of the tutorial, thats it! There is nothing else, just send points to friends… I have found this small explanation by the game developers in the forum, in response to other confused player like me:
To explain a little about Is Cool; the game is centered around the collection and exchange of images. These images are collected in an album, and are organized into different families of wacky Kiwi characters!
In the game, you are a Kiwi character that changes as you exchange and win points with your friends. By collecting points, you reach the next grade and change your Kiwi character. To win points, you can exchange points with your friends and win points daily with the free points ticket!
For your album, each day that you play, you receive an image. You can also exchange your image doubles with your friends to help complete the families. In addition, you will find mini-games within the game that allow you to play to win more images!
If you are a collections fan, and have lots of friends on Facebook you can try Is Cool, it is actually cool, cool graphics and images to collect, but the emptiness on game related content is the main feature.
